A true Gaucho at heart, she earned both her BA and MA from UC Santa Barbara. As an undergrad, she spent a life-changing year studying in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil — an experience that sparked her career in international education. During her master’s program in Global Studies, she returned to Brazil to conduct research on the government’s response to Venezuelan refugees in the country.
