Biography
If you want your college experience to be a memorable one, the best way to make that happen will be to leave the country for part of it.
An alumna of UCSD, Jenny first began her international travels backpacking Western Europe the summer before college. Spain was skipped and saved for her junior year, where she later studied the full academic year abroad in Madrid. It was here she saw that the best way to learn about a culture and enjoy the food is to be part of it and live there. Upon completion of her Bachelors degree in Communications, Jenny temporarily moved to Costa Rica to practice Spanish, teach English, and travel Central America.
She has a Masters Degree in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont. While receiving this degree, she studied a brief winter session in Istanbul, Turkey and completed a practicum in the Office of International Study at Marymount College University in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Previously working at a variety of schools in both international admissions and study abroad departments, Jenny currently enjoys the endless staff and student activities that are held at UCSD almost daily.
